3D & 4D ULTRASOUNDS

BOOK APPOINTMENT

We ask that you give 24hrs advanced notice if you need to cancel, as there are many other Mothers waiting to see their baby too. Expectant mothers should properly hydrate every day of their pregnancy. Hydration will help significantly with the clarity of baby images.

How to prepare

General Information

If we are unable to capture any pictures of the baby’s face, you will be eligible for one rescan session at no charge.  If at that time we still are not able to get a picture due to the baby’s position, additional rescan sessions are $30.

Heaven’s View can perform an ultrasound at any time during the pregnancy, but the best 3D/4D imaging results are generally acquired between 28 and 32 weeks.  It is possible to get good photos after 32 weeks, but late in the pregnancy the baby is more crowed and it becomes more difficult to view the face.  If you are a small framed/petite woman, you may want to consider coming in earlier rather than later.  For average to plus sized women, usually 28-32 weeks is a good time.  If you know your placenta location is anterior (located in the front) it’s best to come in at 28 weeks gestation.  As always drinking plenty of water and other fluids is the best thing you can do to get better pictures of your baby, this increases the amniotic fluid and helps the fluid become clearer.
